HADCO was founded in 1989 with its origins in agriculture irrigation. John Hadfield worked in farming related businesses in Idaho and Wyoming and later found success installing and servicing irrigation systems in Utah. In 1994, HADCO Construction was formed and provides development support to home and commercial builders, as well as road construction services to regional, state and local transportation systems.
Headquartered in Lehi, Utah, HADCO Construction has over 300 employees and is a $50 million company with three divisions: residential, commercial and heavy highway construction services. The company has flourished by constantly reinventing itself in response to changing market conditions in the construction industry.
By utilizing strategic vertical integration, HADCO Residential Construction has bundled its services to provide homebuilders in Utah a single source for site development. The company oversees infrastructure work including: road creation, paving subdivisions, lot development by digging basements, installing sewer lines, concrete, flatwork, foundation and miscellaneous water work.
The company operates TM Crushing LLC, a sand and gravel venture with six pits along the Wasatch Front of Utah. In an average year, the company will process in excess of one million tons of aggregate material.
